Early in the morning of January 21, 2017 Job Site Surveillance’s construction site security cameras caught 3 suspects that broke into the Solis Southline Apartments currently under construction in Charlotte, NC. Brasfield and Gorrie the General Contractors that are building the new apartment building on South Blvd. along the light rail system contracted with Job Site Surveillance to provide live monitored construction site security cameras at the project while it is under construction. Job Site Surveillance uses a live monitored intrusion detection system to keep the project free of theft and vandalism. The South End area of Charlotte is a growing happening area with many new apartments being built.
Once Job Site Surveillance’s live monitored construction site security cameras detected the break in, we immediately dispatched the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police to the site. Being able to track the suspects movements with our cameras, we were able to point the police using their K9 in the right direction. With the help of their K9, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police were able to locate the suspects within the 5 story 30 unit complex which will also has 5200 square feet of retail shops and a 400 space parking deck. Located at the corner of South Blvd and Remount Road.
Thanks to Job Site Surveillance’s live monitored construction site security cameras, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police were able to detain 3 suspects and place them under arrest. Charged with 1st degree trespass were Eric Joseph Schreiner of Charlotte, NC, Kyle John Dickison of Rock Hill, SC and Zachary Grant Bjorklund of Charlotte, NC.
